What we do with the information requested by SMS or through the web site.
We ask for limited personal information on users. When registering for MYPL8 through SMS and the web site we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, landline telephone, e-mail address, car registration and a piece of information from your registration document. These in are required to prevent misrepresentation and false joining.
When you use our service via your mobile telephone we will record your mobile telephone number and your service provider along with call times and receiving number for billing purposes. This is in line with current practices you will be used to when making calls on your current phone contract. We will not share or sell this information with any parties outside of the MYPL8 operational process.
Once you become a service user we ask that you do not give out personal information to other service users unless you expressly wish to take contact level out with the annonimity provided by SMS texts via car registration plates.. Any information given that may be used to find personal details of a user or to trace a user is given at the users own discretion and risk and is in no way controllable by MYPL8. We do not take responsibility for users conduct where users have chosen to make personal contact with other users of the service.
We cannot and will not provide information on users to other users to assist with contact outside of the SMS text system.
If you wish to report misuse of the text service please email us via the website and we will take appropriate action. If you have any reason to suspect that the service is being abused please also report it to us via the web site.
We may use SMS text information and statistics for the purpose of monitoring the usage of our service in order to help us develop MYPL8. This information and any statistics may be used to identify individual users that are not complying with our rules or terms and conditions and may subsequently be used to terminate user accounts.
If you would like to be removed from MYPL8 at any time please email us at out web site and we will take appropriate action to remove you from the live system.
If MYPL8 ( Regicom Limited ) is joined by new partners or sold to another business concern all information held by MYPL8 will be shared by the new partner or sold to the buyer of the business.
